    • Hooks up like a soft tire and lasts a long time
    • Works on a variety of terrain

    Cons

    Overall Tire/Tyre Review

The Shinko 520 front and rear were both highly rated. Like the tire for varied terrain. Hooks up like a soft tire but lasts well. No reports of chunking in the reviews. The Shinko 520 does not distort under high power load and is a great all around tire.

3 reviews. 5 of 5 stars. On a YZ450 – have used all brands before and very happy with the Shinko, this particular tyre most predictable and confidence building for various terrain.

4 reviews. 4.9 of 5 stars. One reviewer says hooks up like a soft tire but lasts very well, doesn’t crack in hot weather, doesn’t chunk, great price. Another says the tire mounted easily, never washed or chunked on trails with rocks, roots, wet red clay. On a KDX220 – no issues with mud, sand, roots, sharp rocks, no chunking, wears as well as any other off-road tire.

8 reviews. 4.9 of 5 stars. On a KX500 – tire does not distort under high power load, great all around tire, use at MX track and the trails. Another says gnarly tread, huge knobs, hooks up in mud and clay with very little spin.
