Stiff rubber for tire life with flexible carcass to improve handling. Warn that for the first couple of laps proceed with caution. Need a couple of laps to get the tires up to temp and for the mold-release to wear off. Tire profile is rider friendly, front promotes quick steering while being stable in the corners. Stability under heavy braking is also improved because of the tire profile. Get maybe triple the distance as compared to SC-line of Pirelli tires. Tires are substantially cheaper than full-blown race tires.

Tires held up well. No cold tearing on cold day. Use tire warmers to be able to be aggressive from the start. Some difference on what the recommended tire pressure should be.

Tested on 2008 Honda cbr1000rr. Used in three hour race and took first place. Still had tread left at the end.

For endurance riders and track riders looking for long lasting tire. Tested on a Triumph Daytona 675. 50 cycles over 400 track miles. Still life in the tires. Impressive traction for how long they last.

On a ZX10 – got 4 track days out of them, would use again.

The Pirelli Diablo Superbike Pro is designed for track day use – over multiple days, no tire warmers, varied suspension setup. Tested on a Yamaha R6 and Ducati 848. Soft sidewall provides compliant ride. Tip in is light and quick. Got 1,400 – 1,500 track day miles. For comparision only got 500 miles on Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas and 400 miles on Michelin P1 race tires. Didn’t use tire warmers and tire warmed up within a lap. Had more grip than could be explioted by A group riders. Tire lasted three times longer on average compared to other track day tires. Said the Superbike Pro runs about 90% of dedicated race tire.

Saw no added benefit to tire warmers, and if left on too long felt the grip actually degraded. Improved personal best by 3 seconds. Very stable when braking hard. Mid corner stability on par with DOTs. Front tire profile in between Michelin V and Dunlop Q2 – likes this profile the best. Acceleration out of corner is probably the largest weak point. Rear breaks loose. Likes the Superbike Pro better than Dunlop Q2.

Used to ride Pilot race tires, reduced lap times by 7 seconds on Pirelli Superbike Pro tires. Tire life is very good.
