    Overall Tire/Tyre Review

The Pirelli Diablo Rosso provides fast warm-up, excellent feedback and control at all lean angles. Once the tires get heat in them they handle like slicks. Turn-in is neutral, mounting and balancing is a piece of cake.

On Buell XB12R – once tires have heat in them they handle like slicks, can’t do rear wheel burnout because it just grips and pushes the bike forward. On Kawasaki ZRX1100 – turn-in fantastic and neutral, mounting and balancing a piece of cake.

On a Ninja 650R – great grip, slightly lacking in feel, have used for weekend rides and track day, smooth linear turn-in. On a BMW R1100S – good tire if you want a high performance street tire, and track days in the beginner/intermediate class.

Tested on Honda CBR600RR – on the street, immediately clear the tires do not offer the best feel. Steering was neutral and side-to-side direction changes no better or worse than OEM Bridgestones. Tire stiffness translated to feeling every bump and pavement ripple. At high speed the the tires offered exceptional balance. Tires got up to temp at the Willow’s within half a lap. Grip was also very strong – experienced zero greasiness, tears or unusual wear marks. Also handled well in the wet. Overall they liked the tire.

7 reviews. 5 of 5 stars. On a R1 reports 6,500 out of the rear, incredible grip and control, great feedback and tread life, if you get a flat spot in the middle it gets to cords faster than Dunlops and Bridgestones. Another says confidence has gone through the roof, excellent feedback, more control. Another said switched from Corsa III for better tread life and have not been disappointed, Corsa III got 3,400 miles, Diablo Rosso got 6,000 miles.
