The Pirelli Angel ST was rated 2nd of 8 tires in the wet, 4th of 8 tires in the dry and 4th overall in a Visordown tire test. Damp Test: 1.21.71 – Lots of movement, but predictable. Good on the brakes, easy on the power. Mid corner grip is pretty good. Dry Test: 1.13.87 – Not as good on the brakes as the outright sports tires (Michelin, Dunlop, Metzeler), easy to get is sliding, but expected for a sports touring tire.

Based on a tire test of the Pirelli Angel St. Front inspired confidence in the corners, wet handling and water dispersion was solid, one rider even did a stoppie in the wet.

53 reviews. 4.7 of 5 stars. On a Buell Ulysses – bike is stable, no squirming. On a ZZR 1200 – prefer over the Michelin Z6, the Pirelli Angel ST is quiet, smooth, consistent, confidence inspiring and sticks in the wet. On a ZX14 – used to use Pirelli Stradas, prefers the Angel ST, sticks well in the cold, tires track straight, smoothest have ever had. On a Kawasaki Versys – ridden in rain, dry, interstate and windy back roads and has handled them all with no slip. On a KTM Super Duke 08 – took about 200 miles to wear in, expect to get 10,000 miles which is better than stock Dunlops by 2 1/2 times, track extremely well crossing concrete joints and uneven road edges. On a Moto Guzzi Griso 8V – good traction and cornering on dry, did not like mileage, rear 3,000 miles, front 4,000 miles.
