    Tire/Tyre Description

Developed for intermediate to soft tracks, Starcross® MS3 tires helped win six MX world championships. Starcross® MS3 tires deliver the best traction of all Michelin® motocross tires on loose dirt, thanks to their widely spaced knobs. The front Starcross®MS3 tire excels in steering precision and braking performance.

    • M-Block System with scoop-like knobs that easily penetrate soft dirt
    • Reinforced knobs resist wear on harder tracks
    • Widely spaced knobs facilitate mud evacuation
    • Visible treadwear indicator: when the ‘M’ disappears, Starcross® tires can be reversed on the rim
    • Differential rigidity casing: Super-stiff sidewalls for high-impact shock absorption, while the flexible tread area minimizes rebound on rough tracks

24 reviews. 4.8 of 5 stars. On a TTR50 – gets great grip in loose dirt. On a RMZ450 – never had a problem finding traction with tires, likes both the durability and traction. On a CR85 – hooks great everywhere, does not wear fast. On a XR100 – ride in a lot of bottomless mud and sand, finally started to hook up. Another used to use the S12, feels the MS3 is even better, sidewalls are heavy duty. Another likes the Starcross MS3 better than the Bridgestone 404. On a YZ250 – has lost knobbies on hard pack, otherwise good wear and hooks up well.

21 reviews. 4.4 of 5 stars. On a Honda CR125 – doesn’t hook up as well as the MH3, knobbies started coming off fairly quickly, feel the MH3 provides much better performance and longevity. Another says mounting was easy, tires hook up, like straight line acceleration compared to Dunlops. Another who is a pro motocross rider says the tire gives the best traction and still has good durability, says outlasts the competition by 4-5 times the life. On a KX250 – ridden on roots and hard clay, felt the tires did not perform significantly better than previous tires. Another says the tire hooks better than any tire have ever owned, mountainous and rocky terrain with some hardpack and mud, rode for 2 years and did not chunk.
